J&F Ready Mix - About Us

In 1964 J & F Ready Mix was opened on a small plot of land behind the family-owned beer distributorship. The same small, hand-operated batch plant was moved to Hughesville increase our market area in 1966.

In 1966 J & F Ready Mix constructed a new, fully-automated batch plant at our present location, 294 Freedom Road, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Today J&F Ready Mix has a large fleet of cement trucks to meet the needs of both commercial and residential customers.

We understand that concrete, is one of the most unique and versatile building materials in the world. It can assume virtually any shape and reach great strengths. Concrete is ideal for any building project such as residential homes, schools, tall commercial buildings, bridges, highways and more. Concrete is very "sensitive" from the time the raw materials are combined to the final product. Mixing, transportation, placing, and curing can influence its stregnth and hardened properties. We are experts when it comes to concrete.
